The Bastion Guard
Become a Warrior
To become a member of the Bastion Guard is to surrender the self for a greater purpose. It is not merely a job or a position; it is an identity forged in an unyielding commitment to protection. The Bastion Guard does not patrol the streets or respond to petty squabbles. Their purpose is far more profound: they are the shield, the wall, the final defence against existential threats.
The Training
The journey to join the Guard is a crucible of mind, body, and spirit. It is less about brute force and more about unshakeable discipline. Recruits endure rigorous training that focuses on:
Unflinching Vigilance
They are taught to see everything, to anticipate threats before they manifest. They learn to identify the subtle signs of a coming storm, whether it's an approaching army or a creeping corruption from within.
Strategic Defence
A Bastion Guard is not just a warrior, but a tactician. They master the art of holding the line, using terrain and fortifications to their advantage. They learn to turn a seemingly insurmountable attack into a costly siege for the enemy.
Personal Fortitude
The training pushes recruits to their absolute limits, not to break them, but to make them indomitable. They face simulated scenarios of isolation, overwhelming odds, and moral compromise, all designed to test their resolve.

Christianity has played a foundational role in shaping Western values and morality, influencing legal systems, cultural norms, and ethical frameworks throughout history. Many core Western concepts, such as the inherent dignity of the individual, the notion of human rights, charity, and the emphasis on justice and compassion, have roots in Christian teachings.
The moral codes derived from Christian doctrine, including the Ten Commandments and the teachings of Jesus Christ, have historically informed the development of Western laws and societal expectations. Ideas such as the sanctity of life, the importance of forgiveness, and the moral responsibility to care for the vulnerable have permeated Western legal and social institutions.
Moreover, Christianity contributed to the emphasis on education, literacy, and the preservation of knowledge through the Middle Ages, which helped lay the groundwork for the Renaissance and the Enlightenment. These periods further developed critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and individual rights, ideas that remain
